Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to record the compromise reached between petitioner / accused and second respondent / defacto complainant and call for the records in Cr.No.234 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same.

For R2 : Mr.C.Ilankaleeswaran COMMON ORDER The matter was referred to Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this bench. The parties have arrived at a settlement before the mediation centre on 19.01.2018. The mediation agreement has also been signed by all the parties. Subsequent to the same, a report has also been sent to this Court indicating that the parties have settled the matter amicably among themselves.

2.In view of the above, the FIR in Crime Nos.234 and 235 of 2017 pending on the file of the respondent police are hereby quashed. The mediation agreement dated 19.01.2018, shall form part of the order.

3.Accordingly, both the criminal original petitions are allowed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
