COMMON PRAYER: Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to forbear the respondents from disturbing the services of the petitioners as Assistant Professors in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Civil, Mechanical at University VOC College of Engineering, Thoothukudi District, Thoothukudi, consequently to direct the respondents to grant and sanction all other monetary benefits including yearly increments as was given to other employees recruited in pursuant to the notification issued by the third respondent vide his proceedings recruitment Advt.No.01/AUTVL/2009, dated 19.06.2009, Advt.No.01/AUTVL/2009, dated Nil, Advt.No.01/AUTVL/2010, dated Nil and Advt.No.01/AUTVL/2010, dated 1/3

When these writ petitions are taken up for hearing today (22.11.2021), the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the second respondent in all Writ Petitions submits that these petitioners have been appointed as Assistant Professors in Anna University and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in these writ petitions.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner in all writ petitions conceded the same.
4.In view of the same and recording the submission made by the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the second respondent, these Writ Petitions are closed as infructuous. No costs.
