This petition is filed to modify the condition as imposed on the petitioner dated, 23.11.2017 made in Crl.M.P.No.3371 of 2017, by the learned II Additional District and Sessions Judge (Prevention of Atrocities Act), Thirunelveli, while releasing him on bail in connection with Crime No.108 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent Police.

2. The petitioner was implicated for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 447, 427, 379 and 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of TNPWH Act 2002 and Section 4 of T.N. Prohibition of Charging of Exorbitant Interest Act, 2003, r/w. Section 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s) and 3

(2) (Va) of SC/ST (PoA) Amendment Act, 2015 in Crime No. 108 of 2017 on the file of the respondent Police.

3. While granting interim bail, the Court below has directed the petitioner to appear and sign before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Karur at 10.00 and 5.00 pm on all working days and in holidays he shall appear before the DSP, Karur at 10.00 am and 5.00 pm until further orders.

Since the petitioner has complied with the said condition for the past 10 days, he has approached this Court for modification of the condition imposed on the petitioner stating that the petitioner is residing at Thirukurungudi and he is an agriculturist.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the State.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition No. 2 imposed on the petitioner by the learned II Additional District and Sessions Judge (Prevention of Atrocities Act), Thirunelveli, dated, 23.11.2017 made in Crl.M.P.No.3371 of 2017, is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall appear before the first respondent Police daily at 10.30 am until further orders. The remaining condition shall remain un-altered.

6. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
