Respondents PRAYER: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to sanction the loan amount to the petitioner for the purpose of developing Hallow Block/Cement Wrok Unit, under Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP Scheme), on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 20.01.2020. The petitioner seeks bank loan from the respondents. To enable the learned Standing Counsel to get instructions, the matter was adjourned earlier.
2. Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/4
W.P.(MD)No.6918 of 2020 petitioner has availed three loans from some other banks and they become non-performing assets(NPA). Therefore, as per norms of the Bank, the respondents are not in a position to grant the petitioner's request for loan. The respondents have also communicated their rejection order through online to the petitioner.
3. Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the respondents, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
