This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register the case against the third and fourth respondents/proposed accused on the basis of the complaint lodged by the petitioner in C.S.R.No.240/2017, dated 11.10.2017, before the second respondent.

2.Today, when the case was called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that after the enquiry, the petitioner has requested the respondent police not to proceed with the complaint stating that they will settle the dispute and also compromise between themselves. In the light of the aforesaid statement, the respondent police closed the petitioner's complaint.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal Original Petition is dismissed. If the petitioner is having any grievance, he is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum in the manner known to law.
