PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent police secure the accused in Crime No.563/2014 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Tuticorin South Police Station, Tuticorin District. ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to conduct investigation in Crime No.563 of 2014 and to secure the accused persons.

2.Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent. 3.The Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that the respondent police had investigated the case and a closure report is going to be filed.

4.In view of the same, the relief sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous. However, respondent police is directed to issue referred charge sheet notice to the defacto complainant in order to enable the defacto complainant to proceed further in this case by filing protest petition in accordance with law.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
