O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register the complaint, dated 22.09.2017 preferred by the petitioner and to take action against the accused persons in accordance with law.

2.According to the petitioner, he is working as a Territory Collection Manager in TVS Credit Service Limited at Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District. On 21.09.2017, the petitioner went for collecting dues from one Sandhiya and at that time, the accused Sandhiya and her husband Rajasekaran abused the petitioner in filthy language and threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, the petitioner has preferred a complaint before the second respondent police. Since no action has been taken on the petitioner's complaint, he has come forward with the present Criminal Original Petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of the closure report and submitted that petition enquiry was conducted by the respondent Police and during the enquiry, the proposed accused has made a statement that the said vehicle has been mortgaged to one Mani, Auto Driver, for a sum of Rs.1,40,000/- and therefore, the complaint was closed.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner requested this Court to serve a copy of the said statement submitted by the borrower/proposed accused. Accordingly, the same has been served to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

5.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. It is open to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum to redress his grievance.
