ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of petition enquiry.

2.It is stated that the third respondent has borrowed some money from the first petitioner and that the third respondent has also issued a Pronote and a cheque bearing No.873841 drawn on Indian Overseas Bank, Kallaperumpur Branch, Thanjavur, dated 12.04.2016. It is further stated that a complaint under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, had already been filed by the third respondent as against the petitioners. that the respondent police started harassing the petitioners unnecessarily to settle the issue.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that no complaint has been received so far, as against the petitioners and that no petition enquiry is pending as against the petitioners and further submitted that no further enquiry is contemplated and that there is no scope for any harassment. 3.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
