O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Respondents No.1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 18.02.2025.

2.According to the petitioner, there is a property dispute pending between the third respondent and the petitioner, thereby, the 3rd respondent frequently harassing the petitioner and abused him and also broke open the door and thrown away the household articles. In this regard, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents and the same was not considered. Hence, this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner already borrowed money from the third respondent, thereby, there are some wordy altercations between the parties. In this regard, the third respondent has lodged a complaint against the petitioner and the same was enquired and the same is pending. While so, now the petitioner has filed a petition seeking police protection and the same was closed after 2/5

enquiry.

4.Since the prayer of the petitioner is to seek police protection, already there is a money dispute between the parties and the complaint given by the 3rd respondent is under enquiry and the representation given by the petitioner was closed by the 2nd respondent, at this stage, police protection cannot be given to the petitioner. However, if any party indulged in criminal activity, both parties can approach the second respondent, who in turn, act in accordance with law. 5.With the above directions and observations, this petition stands disposed of.
