PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the first respondent to monitor the investigation and direct the second respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.676 of 2019 on the file of the second respondent dated 05.11.2019 and file the Final Report within the time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to monitor the investigation and to direct the second respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.676 of 2019 on the file of the second respondent dated 05.11.2019 and file the Final Report within the time frame as may be fixed by this Court. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that she lodged a complaint before the second respondent police with regard to the theft of her 4 1⁄2 sovereigns of jewels in front of her house on 15.06.2019. Based on the complaint, a case in Crime No.676 of 2019 came to be registered on 05.11.2019. After receipt of the same, no action has been initiated by the second respondent to apprehend the accused and to recover the jewels. Hence, the petitioner has submitted a representation through registered post to the first respondent on 12.03.2021. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.4468 of 2021 petitioner has come before this Court with this Criminal Original Petition.

3.According to the learned Government Advocate(crl.side), the investigation is going in a proper manner and he is not in a position to secure the accused and recover the stolen articles also. 4.This is the grievance that has been expressed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the second respondent herein to conclude the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Court within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
