Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to direct the 1st respondent to enquire the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2016 subsequently taking necessary action and enquiring the case in Cr.No.148/2016 dated 15.07.2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent in accordance with law.

ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the first respondent to enquire into the case registered in Crime No.148 of 2016 and take necessary action, based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered by the second respondent in Crime No.148 of 2016 on 15.07.2016. After registration of the case, the second respondent has not taken any action either to conduct further https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

investigation on the matter or to enquire the proposed accused. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted a detailed representation dated 25.07.2016 to the first respondent. Since the same has not been considered by the second respondent, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on instructions, would submit that the investigation in Crime No.148 of 2016 is in progress.

5.Under such circumstances, the first respondent viz., Superintendant of Police, Madurai District is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.07.2016 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and act in accordance with law.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
