ORDER
After hearing Mr.G.Gomathisankar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms.S.Jeyapriya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, I find that the petitioner has filed the present writ petition without availing the statutory appeal remedy available to the District Revenue Officer. The impugned order has been passed by the 2nd respondent only on 05.02.2025. 2.In such view of the matter, the petitioner is granted liberty to move a statutory appeal before the 1st respondent/District Revenue Officer. Registry is directed to return the original impugned order, dated 05.02.2025 to the learned counsel for the petitioner within a period of 10 days from today, thereupon, the petitioner shall prefer an appeal to the District Revenue Officer within a period of two weeks, thereafter, if such an appeal is filed within the said time frame, then the District Revenue Officer shall entertain the appeal without putting limitation against the 2/4
petitioner. If the appeal is filed subject to the above directions, it shall be disposed of on its own merits and in accordance with law, after hearing all the interested parties and after giving them full opportunity to present their respective cases.
3.With the above terms, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. NCC : Yes / No 04.03.2025 Index : Yes / No PNM TO:-
