O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the second respondent dated 18.04.2018 in 05/C2PS/Memo/2018 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to give permission to the petitioner to conduct Kabadi Tournament from 27.04.2018 8.00 p.m. to 29.04.2018 till 10.00 a.m. in Thiruvenkidapuram, Keelavallanadu Village, Thoothukudi District with light and sound.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3. According to the petitioner, he made a representation to the second respondent to grant permission to conduct Kabadi Tournament to be held from 27.04.2018 8.00 p.m. to 29.04.2018 till
10.00 a.m. in Thiruvenkidapuram, Keelavallanadu Village, Thoothukudi. The said representation was rejected on the ground that if the permission is granted, it will create a law and order problem between the communities. Challenging the aforesaid order, the present writ petition has been filed.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the second respondent has considered the said representation and rejected the same on the ground that the Kabadi Tournament to be held from 27.04.2018 8.00 p.m. to 29.04.2018 till 10.00 a.m. and if the permission is granted, it will create a law and order problem among the communities and therefore, the petitioner's representation was rightly rejected by the second respondent.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner requests this Court to grant liberty to make a fresh representation to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Srivaigundam, restricting the time till 10.00 p.m. to conduct the Kabadi Tournament. The learned Government Advocate fairly submitted that if any such representation has been received by the Deputy Superintendant of Police, Srivaigaundam, the same shall be considered in accordance with law by imposing necessary conditions.

In the light of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation along with the copy of this order to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Srivaigundam on or before 25.04.2018 at 8.00 p.m. and if any such application has been received within the aforesaid time, the Deputy Superintendant of Police, Srivaigundam is directed to consider the said representation and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law on or before 26.04.2018, by taking note of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.7043 of 2018, dated 02.04.2018.
