ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition seeking to direct the respondents to permit her to join in the promotional post of Accounts Officer in Tirunelveli Electricity Distribution Circle as per the panel seniority and allotment order issued by the second respondent in Lr.No.107936/2425/G30/G302/20181, dated 28.12.2018.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the first respondent filed an affidavit of undertaking that the petitioner's case would be considered on or before 01.08.2019 in the future vacancy at EDC Tirunelveli. Such an undertaking reads as follows:- "3.I state that, as I.HameethalBeevi is retiring on 30.07.2019, the Boared can accommodate the petitioner in that vacancy at EDC Tirunelveii, with effect from 01.08.2019, if she accordingly makes a representation for a posting to EDC Tirunelveli.

4.I state that if the petitioner makes such a representation, the same shall be positively considered by the Board and she shall be accommodated at EDC Tirunelveli with effect from 01.08.2019."

3.Under such circumstances, the petitioner is permitted to submit a representation also including the claim related to the salary for the months of January and February to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such representation, the respondents are directed to consider the same sympathetically at the earliest possible.

4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
