India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 to 4 to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner for their mobile phone tower erection and operation work in the premises comprised in Town Survey 1346/2 measuring 1200 sq.ft. situated at 6th ward - block no.27, No.1, Nagar Road, Tholkappiar Nagar, Thanjavur - 613 001, Thanjavur District forthwith on the basis of the complaints dated 13.01.2025 made by the petitioner to the fourth respondent. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 to 4 to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner for their mobile phone tower erection and operation work in the premises comprised in Town Survey No.1346/2, on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 13.01.2025.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner Company has entered into an agreement with the owner of the property in Survey No.1346/2 situated at 6th ward - Block No.27, No.1, NBagar Road, Thokappira Nagar, Thanjavur and the petitioner attempted to erect tower. However, the public restrained the petitioner Company from erecting the same and thereby, the petitioner sent the complaint dated 13.01.2025 to the Inspector of Police (L & O), Thanjavur Town East Police Station, Thanjavur and the same has not been considered by the petitioner. But in this petition it has been wrongly mentioned as Thanjavur Town South Police Station.
3.The learned Government Advocate takes notice for the first respondent and submits that already permission has been granted to the petitioner to erect the tower in accordance with the rules. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner's complaint has been received and the same is under enquiry. The respondent police will conduct enquiry and dispose of the same within a period of fifteen days from the date of this order.

5.Since the petitioner's complaint is pending before the Inspector of Police (L & O), Thanjavur Town East Police Station, Thanjavur and the first respondent also granted licence, the Inspector of Police, Thanjavur Town East Police Station (L & O), is directed to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 13.01.2025 and dispose of the same within a period of fifteen days from the date of this order in accordance with law, by considering the licence granted by the first respondent. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. 04.03.2025 Internet :Yes Index :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No LR 4/6
