ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had filed this Writ Petition seeking direction against the second Respondent to grant the permission and protection to conduct the cultural program ie., Aadal Padal on 10.03.2024 at 07.00 PM to 10.00 PM in the eve of Sri Puliyarudaiya Ayyanar Kovil 66th Masi Kalari Utchava Thiruvizha at Melastreet, Malavarayanenthal, Manamadurai Malavarayanendal, Sivagangai.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), on instructions of the respondents, would submit that the petitioner may be directed to file fresh application. The respondent Police undertakes to grant the permission in the light of the circular of the Director General of Police, Head of State Police Force, Tamil Nadu, Chennai-4, issued in Rc.007301/Genl.I(1)/2019, dated 09.04.2019. 2/5

3.Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the petitioner is directed to give fresh representation to the respondents today itself. On receipt of such representation, since the respondents had given an undertaking that they will consider favorably granting permission to the petitioner in the light of the circular of the circular of the Director General of Police, Head of State Police Force, Tamil Nadu, Chennai-4, issued in Rc.007301/Genl.I(1)/2019, dated 09.04.2019, the respondents are directed to dispose of the same, in the light of the said circular today itself.
