The Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to extend the time to surrender before the Learned 1st Additional District Judge (PCR Court) Trichy, Trichy District, granted by this Honourable Court in Crl.OP(MD)No.5831 of 2019 dated 23.04.2019.

The Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the Learned Ist Additional District and Sessions Judge (PCR Court), Trichy District to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day in the event of their surrender in connection with Cr.No.86 of 2019 on the file of the 2nd respondent.

ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day under the caption of Extension of Time and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S A.AZHAGESON, Advocate for the Petitioner and of M/S K.K.RAMAKRISHNAN, Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent(s), this Court made the following order: This Petition has been filed seeking to extend the time granted by this Court to surrender before the learned Ist Additional District Judge (PCR Court), Trichy, Trichy District, in Crl.O.P. (MD).No.5831 of 2019, dated 23.04.2019.

/ 2 / 2.Earlier, this Court by an order dated 23.04.2019, directed the petitioners to surrender before the learned Ist Additional District Judge (PCR Court), Trichy, Trichy District, within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is seen that there was a delay to execute the sureties and surrender before the trial Court by the petitioners. Hence, they pray to grant further time to surrender before the learned 1st Additional District Judge.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that one of the surety met with an accident. Hence the petitioners are not able to surrender before the concerned Court within the time stipulated by this Court.

4. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that since one of the sureties met with an accident, the petitioners could not able to surrender before the concerned Court, this petition is ordered and time to surrender before the concerned Court is extended by two weeks from today (20.06.2019).
