O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent to conduct the proper investigation and to file a final report in the Crime No.03 of 2017 on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Kadampur, Tuticorin District. 2.The petitioner has lodged a complaint as against the proposed accused and the same was registered in Cr.No.3 of 2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 417, 420, 376, 294(b) and 506(ii) of IPC.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that there was no progress in the investigation and that therefore a direction may be issued by this Court, to expedite the investigation and to file a final report, in the interest of justice. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that a look out circular was issued, as the first accused in the criminal complaint is absconding. 5.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.3 of 2017 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
