ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the second respondent herein to register an FIR on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 03.11.2017, lodged before the District Collector, Tirunelveli District which had been endorsed to the first respondent herein, thereafter, forwarded to the third respondent herein.

2.According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, no action has been taken on the complaint against the proposed accused and hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner did not appear before the respondents for enquiry. Therefore, the complaint was closed.

4.In reply, the learned Counsel for the petitioner undertakes that the petitioner would appear before the respondents on receipt of summon.

5. In the light of the above said submissions of the parties, the respondent police can serve summons to the petitioner to appear for the enquiry within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such summon, the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police for enquiry.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
