This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register a case on the complaint of the petitioner, dated 06.01.2017. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, on instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that since the allegations levelled in the complaint are related to matrimonial dispute, the complaint has been referred to the Social Welfare Officer and the same is pending and after getting a necessary report from the Social Welfare Officer, further action will be taken on the complaint of the petitioner. 3.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with a direction to the second respondent police to proceed further in accordance with law after getting a necessary report from the Social Welfare Officer.
