PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- for Anticipatory bail in Crime No.56 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police.
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 451, 427 and 353 of I.P.C., in Crime No.56 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

CRL OP(MD)No.4828 of 2020 election was conducted in the M.Kallupatti Co-operative Society. During the election, the petitioner along with others trespassed into election booth and restrained the defacto complainant from doing their official duty. Hence, the case.
4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner did not commit any offence as stated by the respondent police. Due to the election motive, the defacto complainant lodged a complainant against him. 4.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the State submitted that the matter is under investigation. 5.Taking into consideration of the averments made in the complaint and also the fact that due to the alleged act of the petitioner, the election could not be conducted, since the nomination papers have been damaged by tornning by the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed.
