Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner seeks release of his vehicle which was seized in connection with the illegal transportation of sand. 4.When the matter taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader informs this Court that the petitioner as well as the vehicle in question were involved in an offence in the year 2018.

vehicle before the jurisdictional Magistrate. It is for the jurisdictional Magistrate to deal with the petitioner's request for interim custody.
