ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the FIR in Crime No.547 of 2021, dated 1/4

18.09.2021, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Vengamedu Police Station, Karur District and quash the same.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the investigation in this crime number has already been completed and the final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Karur. However, the report received from the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Karur shows that as on date 21.03.2023 no final report was filed.

3. Subsequent to the filing of the present petition the final report was filed, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Karur is directed to process the charge sheet within the time stipulated as per rules. If the petitioner is aggrieved with the contents of the final report, he can work out the remedy through appropriate proceedings.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
