O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent police to file the final report in connection with Crime No.460 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent police within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner has lodged a complaint as against the proposed accused and the same was registered in Cr.No.460 of 2016 for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ offences punishable under Sections 468 and 471 of IPC on 25.08.2016.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that despite the fact that the case was registered in August'2016, there was no progress in the investigation and that therefore a direction by this Court to expedite the investigation and to file a final report will be in the interest of justice.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to issue the following directions: 4.1.The first respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.460 of 2016 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
