Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.Petitioner wants to conduct a cultural event. The petition mentioned event is to be held on 04.04.2020. But then, in view of the Corona pandemic, it is not possible to give positive direction to the respondent police.

3.The petitioner states that this Court can mandate the jurisdictional police to assign a date, after the Corona pandemic issue is over.

W.P.(MD)No.5649 of 2020 4.The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Alangudi Sub Division, Pudukkottai District is directed to permit the petitioner to hold the event in question, after the ban on public meetings is lifted by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
