ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to transfer investigation of the petitioner's F.I.R in crime no. 144/2022 dated 13.11.2022 from the file of the 3rd respondent to some other agency within the period as stipulated by this Honourable Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the course of enquiry, the petitioner approached the third respondent to collect the CCTV footage in order to prove his case, but the third respondent omitted to collect the evidence from CCTV installed in the occurrence place. Hence, he seeks transfer of investigation.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that the first respondent, after completing the investigation, has filed the final report before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Thiruvadanai and the case was taken on file in S.T.C.No.32 of 2023.
4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed of as infructuous. 2/4
