ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Petitioner, who was arrested on 26.10.2016 for offences punishable under Section 302 IPC in Cr.No.327 of 2016 on the file of respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had pushed his father/deceased on the ground and had assaulted him with an iron rod, who fell down and he was admitted in the hospital and thereafter he succumbed to the injuries.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged and he is in custody from 26.10.2016.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that investigation is almost over and the respondent is awaiting for chemical analysis report.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond in a sum of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees twenty thousand only) with two sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kumbakonam, and on condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m until further orders.
