ORDER

The petitioner seeks limited relief of issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of proceedings in Na.Ka. A5/5611/2023 dated 06.05.2024.

2.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, with the consent of learned counsel on either sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 4.The petitioner has made an application to the 2nd respondent on 10.08.2023 for correction in the UDR records. Since the competent authority is the 1st respondent, the 2nd respondent has forwarded the application of the petitioner to the 1st respondent on 06.05.2024. The petitioner has also given representation to the 1st respondent on 16.01.2025 seeking for expeditious disposal of his 2/4

application.

5.Considering the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, it would suffice to issue direction to the 1st respondent to consider the pending application of the petitioner seeking for correction in the UDR records and pass final orders, after putting on notice to any other interested parties, in accordance with law within period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.
