ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to pay minimum of the pay scale revised from time to time as Lecturers and Lab Assistant in the respective Departments of Arulmigu Palaniandavar Polytechnic College, Palani, Dindigul, on par with permanent post.

consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for hearing at the stage of admission.
3.The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners 1 to 4 are working as Lecturers and and the fifth petitioner is working as a Lab Assistant in the fourth respondent college and initially they were paid salary on temporary basis and subsequently, their pay was revised, but the salary prescribed by AICTE was not paid. Seeking such claim, the petitioners made representations to the respondents. As no orders have been passed on the same, this writ petition has been filed.
4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representations of the petitioners would be considered on merits. 5.In such view of the matter, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representations of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners. 6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
