ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give police protection to the petitioner, his family members and others, while constructing the door steps and compound wall in petitioner's home at No.2/13, in Old Survey No.239/1, New Survey No.1336/20, Maharajapuram, Chettiyar Middle Street, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a complaint to the official respondents herein against the proposed accused and also requested the police to provide police protection to measure the property, however, no action is forthcoming from the respondents 1 to 3 and hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, would submit that enquiry was conducted and thereafter, the petitioner's complaint was closed. He would further submit that since the complaint pertains to civil dispute, both the parties are advised to approach the civil Court to resolve the dispute.

4. In view of the aforesaid submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner to approach the civil Court for appropriate relief. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (AS) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To
