PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the culture programme on 17.04.2020, 25.04.2020 and 26.04.2020 on first, second and third day festival to be celebrated by the petitioner's Arulmighu Sudalaimadan, Arulmighu Muniyasamy Arulmighu Petchiamman and Arulmighu Kamatchiamman Temple at K.Duraichamipuram Village Festival in an usual manner, which is scheduled to be held between 06.00 p.m to 01.00 a.m at the Venue of the Temple.

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and police protection for the conduct of cultural programmes in connection with temple festival of "Arulmighu Sudalaimadan, Arulmighu Muniyasamy Arulmighu Petchiamman and Arulmighu Kamatchiamman" at K.Duraichamipuram Village. Now, due to efflux of time, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present petition and hence, the same is dismissed. No costs.
