O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivagangai to dispose of the M.C.No.9 of 2010 within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court. 2.The petitioner is the wife of the respondent and filed a petition under Section 125 of Cr.P.C., for maintenance and the same is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivagangai in M.C.No.9 of 2010. It is stated by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that even after the lapse of 8 years, the matter is still pending at the stage of arguments. 3.Considering the nature of dispute and the facts, this Court is convinced that a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivagangai for early disposal of the case will be in the interest of justice.

4.Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivagangai is directed to expedite the trial and dispose of the case in M.C.No.9 of 2010 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
