O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents particularly, the second respondent to register the petitioner's complaint, dated 10.03.2017 and subsequently, conduct investigation in accordance with law and also file the final report forthwith.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of the closure report and submitted that for the very same occurrence, already a case has been registered in Crime No.267 of 2017 under Section 3(1) of TNPPDL Act on the complaint given by the Headmaster of the School and the same is under investigation and therefore, the present complaint was closed.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner requested this Court that the petitioner may be added as one of the witnesses in Crime No.267 of 2017. Hence, if any such request is made by the petitioner, the same shall be considered by the second respondent police.

4.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
