O R D E R

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition has been filed by a retired Assistant Manager of respondent Corporation seeking for a mandamus for disbursement of the Voluntary Retirement Compensation along with interest.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner was permitted to go on voluntary retirement service with effect from 31.03.2023. However, an amount of Rs.25,000/- which has to be paid towards compensation for voluntary retirement service has not yet been paid to him. The petitioner sent a representation on 31.01.2025 seeking voluntary retirement service compensation. Since there is no response, the present writ petition is filed.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents herein are directed to disburse the eligible voluntary retirement service compensation to the petitioner along with 6% from the due date till the date of 2/4

actual payment within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
