This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to register a case on the petitioner's complaint dated 19.11.2017 and investigate the case in accordance with law.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the petitioner's complaint, a case has already been registered in Crime No.525 of 2017, for the offence punishable under Sections 309 and 109 IPC on the file of the second respondent police. He has also produced a copy of the FIR to that effect.
