2. The petitioner seeks first honour during the petition mentioned temple festival held in the Tamil month of Panguni. Whether there is such a custom or not is not a matter that can be decided in the writ proceedings. The petitioner will have to establish his claim elsewhere. Granting such liberty, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
