ORDER

This Criminal Original petition is filed for quashing the First Information Report in Crime No.47 of 2014 on the file of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Anti Land Grabbing Special Cell, Ramanathapuram, the first respondent herein.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3. It is stated that based on the complaint lodged by the second respondent, a case was registered in Crime No.47 of 2014 for the alleged offences under Sections 419, 420, 423, 466, 467, 468, 471 r/w 120(b) of I.P.C., as against the petitioner and six others.

4. The petitioner states that she is the seventh accused. It is the case of the petitioner that he entrusted some people for purchase of the lands and that out of 250 Acres acquired from the petitioner's Company, one sale transaction where from it is alleged in the complaint that the second respondent's property was sought to be grabbed by the proposed accused by impersonating the owner. It is further contended that the petitioner being a bonafide purchaser for valuable consideration cannot be roped in.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the petitioner's name was deleted and that Charge Sheet has been filed as against the four accused who were found to be involved in the commission of offence under Section 420 of I.P.C., based on forged records.

6. Since the name of the petitioner was deleted, the Criminal Original petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
