ORDER

This petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the impugned order passed by the second respondent vide his proceedings in C.No.10/ACTDN/Camp/MLR/MC/2026 dated 31.01.2026 and consequently to direct the respondents to grant permission for peaceful agitation at Palangantham Roundana at any date last week of February, 2026. 2.The petitioner, who belongs to a political party, seeks permission to agitate against the school management and as well as the police officer with regard to the investigation of an offence under the POCSO Act.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents Police submitted that already the complaint was taken on file and after completing the investigation, a final report was filed as 2/4

"Mistake of Fact" on 31.12.2025. Therefore, there is no purpose for conducting any agitation.

4.Recording the same, the present petition cannot be entertained. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
