PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to issue direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tenkasi to dispose of C.C.No. 185 of 2020 within a time frame stipulated by this Hon'ble Court For Petitioner : Mr.V.Angusamy For Respondent : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi Additional Public Prosecutor
ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tenkasi to dispose of C.C.No. 185 of 2020 within a time frame stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is pending trial without any progress.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that some of the witnesses have been examined in this case.
4. Under such circumstances , there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tenkasi to dispose the case pending in CC No. 185 of 2020 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings. Further the petitioner shall appear before the trial Court on all hearing dates without fail and co-operate for trial.
5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
