Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned Peace Committee Meeting order passed in the proceedings of the second respondent dated 08.02.2019 and quash the same as illegal.

O R D E R

The petitioner questions the Peace Committee Meeting Minutes dated 08.02.2019. This Court has already held that such minutes have no legal sanctity or value. They are only a sincere effort made by the revenue authorities for amicably resolving the disputes between two groups of people. If the petitioner is unable to put up construction, he is permitted to file an injunction suit.

2. It is made clear that the Minutes dated 08.02.2019 will not be put against the Writ petitioner, when he is seeking to enforce his rights in the manner known to law. With this observation, this Writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are closed.
