This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to survey the petitioner's land and fix its four boundaries in Town Survey No. 340, Block No. 7, Old Ward No. Five, New Ward No. Ten, Trichy Town Municipal, Sinthamani Village, Kaspa Mahanam, Trichy District, having an extent of 1 acre and 61 cents, based on the recent town survey documents in Ward-F, Block No. Fourteen, Town Survey Nos. 18/1 and 19 and to complete the survey within a stipulated 2/6

time frame.

2. The petitioner seeks the indulgence of this Court to direct respondents 1 to 6 to conduct a survey and demarcate the boundaries of the aforementioned property, as requested in his application dated 16.02.2026. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite submitting the application on 16.02.2026, no action has been taken by the authorities. Aggrieved by this inaction, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 6 submits that the petitioner's application will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

4. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the fifth respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 16.02.2026 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders in compliance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of sixteen 3/6

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
