2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions, would submit that as per the Proceedings No.95887/98/CP1, dated 11.01.1999, the respondent police has no https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

jurisdiction to register the case, as the present complaint is below Rs.1,00,000/- and therefore, the competent authority is the District Crime Branch.
