6.S.Ranjani Secondary Grade Teacher Boiler Plant Middle School Kailasapuram Trichy 14 Prayer: This Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned order of the 5th respondent dated 11.03.2021 quash the same and consequently forbearing the respondents 1 to 5 herein from in any manner promoting and approving the 6th respondent in the post of BT Assistant (Maths) in the light of the order dated 15.02.2021 made in WP(MD).No.1204 of 2021 on the file of this Court.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking to challenge the order passed by the 5th respondent School Management wherein the request of the petitioner to promote her as a B.T.Assistant Teacher has been rejected. 2.The petitioner herein is working as a Secondary Grade Teacher in the 5th respondent School. She is a graduate in History. When vacancy arose in the post of B.T.Assistant, the petitioner has made a request for appointing her. The Management has appointed the 6th respondent who was qualified as a 2/5

B.T.Assistant (Maths). The appointment of the 6th respondent was made on 11.03.2021 and approval was granted on 14.07.2021. The Management had preferred the 6th respondent over the writ petitioner primarily on the ground that B.T.Assistant Teacher who had retired was qualified with B.T.Assistant (Maths).

3.A perusal of the impugned order passed by the Management reveals that since the vacancy arose for B.T.Assistant (Maths), the 6th respondent was preferred over the writ petitioner. The petitioner without challenging the order of promotion granted to the 6th respondent herein, has simply challenged the rejection order passed by the School Management. Therefore, the present writ petition is not maintainable. 4.In view of the above said facts, there are no merits in the writ petition and the same stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
