ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent herein to consider the petitioner's application dated 06.02.2026 and to record the name of the petitioner as the Hereditary Trustee of Arulmigu Sri Thalakudai Ayyanar Temple situated at Lakshmipuram Village, Vembakottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner herein seeks to record his name as the hereditary trustee of the subject temple. In this regard, he made an application to the first respondent on 06.02.2026. However, the said application has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the application of the petitioner dated 06.02.2026 would be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 06.02.2026 and pass appropriate orders on 2/4

merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
