ORDER

The writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2025 and consequently direct the 1st respondent to grant the Differently Abled Pension (Scheme DAPS) to the petitioner within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.P.Muthusamy, learned counsel appearing for petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader placing on record the written instructions received by him on dated 02.03.2026 and submits that the petitioner's application was found to be eligible and a recommendation has already been made. However, the same has not yet been implemented as it is subject to the 2/4

release of funds from the Government. It was further submitted that as and when the funds are received, the pension will be disbursed to the petitioner as well as to other similarly placed persons as per the scheme.

5. Recording the same, the writ petition stands disposed of. The respondents are directed to take expeditious steps to obtain funds from the Government and to release the pension to the petitioner as well as to other similarly placed persons. No costs.
