ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to pass an order to call for the records pertaining to the proceedings in P.R.C.No.22 of 2022, pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Karaikudi and quash the same.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner restricts the relief sought for in this petition as to a direction to the learned trial Court to expedite the trial in the case in in P.R.C.No.22 of 2022.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of this case, the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Karaikudi, is directed to dispose of the case in P.R.C.No.22 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
