Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to disburse a sum of Rs.35,05,182/- along with 18% interest for the work completed by the petitioner under outsourcing of operation and maintenance of CWSS to Nanguneri, Thisayanvilai TPs and 342 way side habitations in Tirunelveli District for the year 2013-2014, 20142015, 2015-2016 of three years as per the agreement dated 15.09.2013 by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 23.02.2019 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court. ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents.
2. The writ petitioner was a Contractor, who was entrusted with certain works by the respondent Board. The case of the writ petitioner is that even though he completed the works in terms of the agreement dated 13.09.2013, he has not been paid his dues in full. He has given a representation dated 23.02.2019 in this regard.

3. The second respondent is directed to pass orders on the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.It is made clear that this Court has not pronounced anything on the merits of the matter. It is open to the second respondent to pass orders in one way or other.
