Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to release the service benefits (G.P.F, D.C.R.G, TNGESP, Family Pension, FB, EL Encashment etc) of the petitioner husband R.Nallathambi who died during service period in the second respondent office on 12.06.2013 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.02.2021.

*********** By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the wife of Late.R.Nallathambi, who died in the office of the second respondent on 12.05.2013. After a lapse of 7 years, the respondents admitted to pay the terminal benefits of her late husband. Thereafter, on 17.03.2021, the petitioner and other legal heirs submitted a consent letter for issuance of the service benefits in two equal shares. Based on the request of the legal heirs, the second respondent released a sum of Rs.1,40,000/- from the terminal benefits of late R.Nallathambi. However, the other benefits have not been released. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation to the second respondent on 28.02.2021. Since, the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner has come up with the present writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.[MD]No.6786 of 2021 3.Learned Counsel for the petitioner requests this Court to issue a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.02.2021.
4.In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.02.2021, within a period of twelve [12] weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
