: Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representations, dated 28.02.2019 and 18.08.2018 to issue a Non-Traceable Certificate pertaining to the petitioner's mother Mrs.Vasantha Ramanathan (aged about 57 years), who was a resident of No.179A, Anthoniyar Koil Street, Kamarajar Nagar, Trichy.

ORDER
The present petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations, dated 28.02.2019 and 18.08.2018 to issue a Non-Traceable Certificate pertaining to the petitioner's mother.
2.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police. 3.The learned Government Pleader made a fair statement that it cannot be possible for the Investigation Agency to give a NonTraceable Certificate for the present, since, it may convey a negative idea that the police is not efficient enough to trace her. The present status is that till date, she is not traced, despite best effort expanded by the police personnel and to its effect, a certificate can be given.

taken may bear results, notwithstanding the delay intervene. The learned Government Advocate also added that a special team proposed to be constituted to expedite the process. 5.Therefore, this Court directs the second respondent to issue a certificate to the effect that the missing woman has not been traced till date of its issuance without indicating that she could never be traced.
