ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to direct the Inspector of Police, Anna Nagar Police Station, Madurai City, the second respondent herein, to expedite the investigation in Crime No.2269 of 2016 pending on this file and to file a final report.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents.

3.Perused the materials placed on record.

4.Taking into consideration the nature of allegations in the FIR, this Court directs the second respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.2269 of 2016, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, under due intimation of the de facto complainant.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
